LEPER + CHIP

Amilia Stewart

Amilia is from Dublin and graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting in 2013 where she was cast in roles such as Hermia in A Midsummers Night Dream, directed by Liam Halligan, Sherbet in The Fastest Clock in the Universe, Peegen Mike in The Playboy of the Western World, both directed by Paul Brennan and Edie in Heroin(e) for Breakfast, directed by Gene Rooney, and went on to play the part of Lola in Gary Duggan’s Town and Country in Smock Alley for the Gaiety School of Acting Graduation Play.

 

Amilia recently played the part of Chip in Lee Coffey’s, Leper + Chip, directed by Karl Shiels, which transferred to The Project Arts Centre in February 2015 in association with Theatre Upstairs and Bitter like Lemon theatre collective.

 

Amilia Television and film credits include A Dangerous Fortune, directed by Christian Schwochow, is currently plays the series regular role of Katy O’ Brien on RTE’s Fair City as well as featuring in a recent McDonald’s commercial in 2014.

 

Amilia is one of the founding members of Bitter like a Lemon Theatre Collective.
