Ger Clancy - Designer

Ger trained in Fine Art Sculpture at NCAD. He has worked for the past 15 years across the disciplines of Visual Arts, Theatre and Film. He has lectured in Three Dimensional Design, Model making and Digital Art at IADT, for the past decade. 

Joanna Crawley (Derkaczew) - Dramaturg

Joanna is a producer, translator, dramaturg and a former chief theatre critic, reporter and columnist for Gazeta Wyborcza, the leading newspaper in Poland. Honored with ASSITEJ Award for Excellence in Criticism. She was a juror, selector and co-organizer of Polish and international festivals. Now based in Ireland, she has translated several Irish plays into Polish (including the work of Simon Doyle and Gavin Quinn, Deirdre Kinahan, Amy Conroy, Tom Murphy, Owen McCafferty). She was also a dramaturg for Rough Magic SEEDS production of Way to Heaven and Snow Angels. She produced dr Niamh Shaw’s To SPACE, (A)pollonia – New Plays From Poland for the Dublin Theatre Festival, The Windstealers, Story Machines. Theatre and Technology Symposium, East of Berlin, as well as THEATREclub's It's Not Over (Dublin Thetatre Festival 2015), The Ireland Trilogy (The Abbey), The Game tour (Ireland/UK). Author of The Eurydice Project. She lectures at University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw.

Lee Samuel Wilson - Director

Lee holds both Canadian and Irish Citizenship.

He was nominated by his peers in 2013 for the Christopher Plummer Fellowship Award for his outstanding contribution to the classics and Shakespeare performance in Canada. 

Lee participated in the Inaugural Michael Langham Workshop for Classical Directors at the Stratford Festival in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Lee has been the assistant to Des McAnuff on The Who’s Tommy and The Tempest film and stage production starring Christopher Plummer at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He was an Intern Director at The Shaw Festival during its 2005/2006 season in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada; and the Resident Director in the Birmingham Conservatory at Stratford in 2004/2005. 

Lee started off his professional career as a member of the Inaugural Soulpepper Training Company studying acting, design, and directing with his mentor Robin Phillips.

Marcela Garzaro - Actress

I moved to Dublin, Ireland from Toronto, Canada back in September 2014. I was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala but was raised in Canada as a Canadian citizen.

 

I have been seen in such shows as Cold Blood, Covert Affairs, and Surviving Evil. I am excited to make connections and kick-start my career in Ireland and the UK. I have recently received some much awaited and exciting news that I have been granted permission to reside and work in Ireland on a Stamp 4 Visa.

Monika Bieniek - Movement Director

Monika Bieniek – Contemporary Dance Teacher, Choreographer and Movement Director.

Member of Polish Artists’ Association, former member of “Dance Theatre Alter”- one of the leading dance companies in Poland, she has worked as a dance artist for 20 years.

Since moving to Ireland, Monika worked extensively as a Dancer, Dance Teacher and Choreographer with various companies. Some of her work as movement director includes: “Boy with the suitcase”, “Monday Child”, “Jack and the bean stalk” for Barnstorm Theatre in Kilkenny; “Gruesome Playground Injuries”- The Lir; “Windstealers” - ECCLES Theatre, “Waterworn” – Clancy Company created for Fringe Festival.

She created choreographies for several large scale street performances: “Chingay” Parade in Singapore, “Escape from the Dead Zoo” Fringe Festival, St Patrick Parade.  

Her work as a teacher, apart from her own practise is linked to IADT art college in  Dun Laoghaire where she taught dance and creative movement.

Monika worked as a dancer and dance teacher in Myriad Dance Company in Wexford where she also choreographed many dance projects for Youth Company under the umbrella of Myriad; her work there as a dancer includes “101 Project”, “One Penny Operas”.
